On February 25th our "lulu" turned "3”. I, like I'm sure a lot of you moms out there, wonder where the time has gone... How could our little girl have changed so quickly?
Lily at 3:
- Is truly the leader…always taking Peyton upstairs to play and where ever you want to be!
- Still do an amazing job playing on your own. You love pretending for hours, organizing, and setting things up.
- You love to sing and have started making up your own songs which we love.
- You still like animals and can tell us what each of them say.
- You still are a blankey kind of girl but you only carry it around when you are tired or not feeling good.
- You don't slow down long enough to eat a meal, but want bites of anything anyone else is eating. But you still love cheese and will eat it all day if we let you.
- You are in the fun "watch me" stage, and do all you can to be "super cool".
- You LOVE your brother Peyton... and will share any and everything with him.
- Still don't like to be sticky or dirty.
- You have just started potty-training and are doing pretty good at it.
- You won't do anything without the lights on, but want to sleep in the pitch black with the door closed.

On your actual birthday, Dad had the day off. When you woke up you opened your gift from your Mimi and then went to krispy kream for breakfast and watch the doughnuts get made. We also went to the Magic House and played all day, which you and Peyton both had a blast. For dinner we went to Red Robin where they sung Happy Birthday to you and gave you a cupcake!

That weekend, we had a "friends and families" party Dress Up Tea Party at the community center on-base. It was SO MUCH FUN! Here was the invitation that your Aunt Stephy made for us:
For The cake your mommy decided to make you Princess Cupcakes, which you loved and ate on for about 3 days!
The party was a hit. It was crazy at times with 10 little girls running around, but it was way worth it. Everyone got to wear a tutu and made a crown and let’s not forget the boas, beads, bracelets & rings. Lily had so much fun playing with all of her little friends, and really as long as she had fun what else matters!
Here are all the friends who came. We had SO much fun!!
For party favors all the little girls got to keep their dress up stuff, plus we had some princess candy bracelets & suckers! They LOVED them!!
