So in Febuary our little Lily turned four years old! I can not believe that it has already been four years since we had our little angle! Well TJ had to work on Lily's birthday, so we had her open up her gift from us the night before, then me her and Peyton got up and opened her gift from Mimi, Aunt Robin & Uncle Orlan and Peyton. We also went to Eckert because that is what she wanted to do. But since TJ had to work we decided to have her friend party the Monday after. Lily went to a Monkey Joe's party a while back and that is all she has talked about so we decided to go with a Monkey Joe's party. Talk about a stress free Birthday party, it was wonderful, we invited some of her Primary friends and she has a blast!! We really enjoyed it and she did too.

So back in March TJ did a fund raising event to help support the American Lung Association. They ran 42 flights of stairs. TJ said it was fun for the first 7 fights! :-D But he ran with a picture of my grandmother (Maw Maw) on his sleeve!! Maw has stage 4 lung cancer and their is nothing they can do for her. So if we cant help save her, at least we can find a cure and help save other peoples Grandparents!!

Ok so let me play a little catch up...back in January our Lily went into Primary (she is now a Sunbeam) Well in January we had our first Primary activity it was a get to know your teacher and introduction to this years theme!! So last Sunday was Lily's first day in Primary....I can not believe that we have a child in Primary already! I feel like we just found out we where having our little Princess and look at us now! I can only say that I feel VERY blessed to still be serving in Primary...and to be able to watch her grow and learn! She was so excited Sunday because she got to go to Primary with Mommy and cried when she had to go to class, but later informed me that she was "so excited" and she "LOVED Primary"! It always helps that she has an AMAZING teacher!! I know with out a doubt we are very blessed to be apart of this wonderful Gospel and to be in an AMAZING ward!!

So as most of you know my husband is not a Saints fan (poor guy) he is in fact a Green Bay Packers fan....well my oldest bother sent Lily & Peyton these cute little costumes for Halloween (haha....I think it was to razz TJ a little) So me being the cheap person I

So it is that time of year....where all of the trees are turning different beautiful colors, there is a chill in the air when you wake up, there are pumpkins everywhere!! It is just a beautiful time of year!! We just LOVE it. We have our pumpkins picked....out leaves have been raked and played in and raked again!! :-D We have pulled out all of our Fall/Winter cloths even our light coats!! :-(

So yesterday the Air Force band put on a GREAT concert on the Parade Field...we had a blast the older girls got to hang out with some friends from church!! Lily & Peyton danced around to the music and TJ and I just set back and relaxed...it was an amazingly relaxing afternoon!!

Well I can not even believe my baby is 2 already, but he is. On April 30th our "Peyton Joel" turned "2" Now I know that most moms would say this but I swear I just had him! :-( And he is already growing up oh so quick.

You got to see all of your favorite animals!! :-) You even feel asleep before we got back onto the interstate to come home. When we got home you had another gift waiting on the front door for you (from your mimi) that you opened & played with until dinner time!! For dinner we went to Red Robin where they sung Happy Birthday to you and gave you icecream & balloons!!

Ok so for the past few days it has been 100% beautiful outside! So we have been able to go to the park and go out to the back yard, it is wonderful! The kids have totally enjoyed it! Well Saturday I was cooking dinner and the kids had their juice cups and they where out in the back yard playing while I was cook when I checked on them this is what I found...my two little best friends...I hope they are always best friends!!

On February 25th our "lulu" turned "3”. I, like I'm sure a lot of you moms out there, wonder where the time has gone... How could our little girl have changed so quickly?

Is truly the leader…always taking Peyton upstairs to play and where ever you want to be!

Still do an amazing job playing on your own. You love pretending for hours, organizing, and setting things up.

You love to sing and have started making up your own songs which we love.

You still like animals and can tell us what each of them say.

The party was a hit. It was crazy at times with 10 little girls running around, but it was way worth it. Everyone got to wear a tutu and made a crown and let’s not forget the boas, beads, bracelets & rings. Lily had so much fun playing with all of her little friends, and really as long as she had fun what else matters!

For party favors all the little girls got to keep their dress up stuff, plus we had some princess candy bracelets & suckers! They LOVED them!!

Lily Mae, we LOVE you so much. You definitely add some adventure and excitement to our family, and we don't know what we would do without you!

The Kids Meet Santa

So this past week we brought the kids to meet Santa, now the great thing about this Santa is you get to take your own picture. Now Lily saw the candy canes when we first walked in, so she was sold!! :-) But Mr Peyton, he was not so sure!! :-) He did not like it at all, now don't get me wrong, this Santa was not the best Santa in the world...he was kind of scary!! LOL

So my husband has been begging me to make him some homemade salsa for a little while now, and the other day we went to the farmers market and got a salsa box for $11!! Now you have to understand this was a box about the size of a paper box full of tomatoes, peppers & Onions!! It was such a great deal. So last week I canned about 12 jars of salsa just for him. He was so happy to come home from work and help me put the salsa in the jars and seal them.

Zoo!!

So we love the St Louis Zoo!! It is free...need I say more!! :-D So yesterday we went and the kids had a blast we where not even on the interstate on the way home and they where both out. that is a true true sign for how much fun they had!! :-D So while we where there we did do a few little thing like the train, which I thought Lily was going to bounce out of her seat she was so excited and the carousel, which again Lily was so excited!! We also went to the children's zoo, which has the petting zoo and a water fountain that they can play in. But they both had a great day Lily is getting to the age where she truly enjoys herself and Peyton just likes going...his favorite words are "got to go"! :-D It truly was a great day!

So every session we like to go and pick the fresh fruit at the local farm!! It is great, the kids get to ride the tractor and I get to make homemade pies or jams!! Ok sorry it has been a little while!! We have just been having too much fun with TJ home!! :-) He came home Wednesday August 5th!! We have had a blast having him home again and do not ever want him to go again (even though this is not possible in the military) :-) But here are a few pictures of the kids and him at the airport!! Lily ran right to him & Peyton went right from my arms to his, which was the biggest shocker!! Since he is such a mommy's lil boy!! Today was my last day of work before i come home and i just wanted to tell everyone, especially my wife and children that I am so happy to be coming home. It has been a long and exausting deployment, more so for tracy than me. I am so blessed to be married to her. She has had a lot on here shoulders for a long time and I am ready to get home to take the burdens off of her shoulders and put them on mine. She deserves a huge break and to tell you the truth, I am ready to help her. I miss giving the kids a bath at night and putting them to bed. I miss laying next to my wife at night on the sofa and even going to bed at night with her lying next to me. It will be great to get home and to be a part of my family again as a whole. We have been apart for way to long and that sucks. I cant wait to see my wife and touch her face and feel her hands in mine, I cant wait to see our kids and how much they have grown and how much they have developed and what they have learned since I have been gone. I love you Tracy and everything will be better when I get home. soon we will be together again as a family and we will have everything that we need. you are so precious in our lives Tracy and I am sorry that I ever took you for granted and what you do for granted. It is going to be nice to get home and to be with you all again. only 2 more days until I get home. well I love you Tracy and I will See you oh soon but not soon enough. I love you and miss you always.

So Wednesday we went to the Nauvoo Pageant!! We stayed the night in Nauvoo and stayed all day up there yesterday and even went to Carthage! It was an amazing experience! My kids where so good considering how past their bed time it was! We had an amazing time, and you could truly feel the spirit their! I am hoping that TJ gets home early enough to be able to go back up their so he can experience it! But here are some pictures!!

well as you all can tell I have not been on here in a few days.....well it is almost time to come home and I want more than anything to get on that plane and just throw up the dueces to the Deid....HAHA.....I am so ready can you tell. I am ready to pack all of my stuff and bring it to the terminal and put it in the bin and wait for it to get loaded on the plane and then a few hours get on board myself so yes I have already planned it all out......because i work at the terminal I can get on the plane first and get the good seat and just sleep the whole way home or until I cant sleep anymore.....ok I probably wont be able to sleep anyway because I am going to be so excited to be home....I need to stop talking about all of that cause I am just making myself more anxious and I am anxious enough right now ya know.....The coolest thing happened to me about two weeks ago or maybe it was three, I don't know, but anyway I went to church a few weeks ago and when I got there I started to look around at all the people and who all was there to see if there was anyone new that I could introduce myself to and as I looked up at the front of the chapel I noticed someone who I had not seen dince i was about 14 or so, it was my bishop that I had when I first got baptized and I went up to him and asked him if he remembered me and he did, so we eat lunch together every week on wednesday and sunday so I was really excited....he was blown away that i was here and that I was in the Air Force and so it has been really good to remanice with him and see him again.....anyway I am now in the teens, I have 19 days until i am eligeable to come home. so stinking exciting.....well I think that I have been on here long enough rambling on so I will get off of here so bye for now......I love you Tracy and I will see you very soon.....I miss you tons and cant wait to kiss your lips again and hug you and hold you and our kids all at the same time and never let you all go again. Answering Prayers

I have had a good last few days and the last couple of weeks have flown by and I am so glad. I hope that the rest of July goes by just as fast so that the date that my plane comes will come a whole lot faster. I have had a cool experience with prayer here lately. I can attest to Heavenly Father answering prayers. I have witnessed just the little things that he has had his hands in and i am greatful that he is always willing to answer prayers even the small ones. The message From President Eyring that says basically to look and ponder about the times that you have witnessed Gods hands in your life everyday. I have kind of been looking for those small things and I am noticing that He is there more than I ever realized that He was. It is amazing how much He is truly and really there. I have seen a few things that have amazed me, it shouldnt amaze me as much as it has but it has and I am grateful. I just wanted to say that I love you Tracy and I miss you and hope that July goes by as fast as June did or even faster. I have a feeling that it will. I love you and the kids more and more every day I hope that you know that. bye for now

well it is timw again i guess to update every one on my status here. I have 32 days left and it is not going by as fast as I was hoping that it would but that is because i keep couting I think but that is ok. timw is all relative anyway right. I have been starting to excersise again with the P90X excersise program again and i can tell you that it is nothing to mess around with, it really works you and I can feel the difference. i think i might be close to my original goal weight which is a good thing, my goal weight was 190 but i have recently changed it to 185 but i think that no matter what i feel better about myself in that aspect because the last time that i weighed myself i had lost 21 pounds so I am happy for now with that I guess. but i still have 4 weeks left in this place so i am not done yet. I have learned a lot but am still learning thingts that I should already know but maybe one day I will get it right hopefully. well that is all i just wanted to make another update with me in Qatar so there it is. i will talk to you all later. I love you Tracy and miss you so much, I will talk to you here shortly. Bye.

In the right place at the right time

Yesterday was one of those days that you knew Heavenly Father truly played a big part in. My sister Robin is up visiting us and we had plans to go into St Louis and Monday evening I looked at her and said hey we should go to Nauvoo tomorrow and go to St Louis some other time. So yesterday we got up and headed up to Nauvoo, when we got there we went and ate lunch and then headed to the visitor center, after touring the garden we decided to head back into the visitor center to just hang out for a bit. We where really sitting on a bench when this women walked up too me and said I know you. I was so confused I wont lie. Well to make a long story short, it was TJ's Aunt Tammy and Grandma Quon. To be 100% honest we have never even meet TJ's Grandma before so it was a totally amazing experience. You just knew that the Lord had a hand in, we where really suppose to meet them!!

A REAL EYE OPENER

well I have to say that this week was a blur....not that I am complaining or anything it just means that time flew by this week. I hope that the rest of my time here in Al Udeid Qatar goes by fast and that I can rejoin my family sooner than later. I have to tell you all though, this trip has been a real eye opener to me and I have learned a lot of really neat, cool, and useful things about my job, my life, myself and most importantly my relationship with my wife....I wont go into details, I'll spare you, haha. But no in all seriousness, this has been a really good learning experience and I feel that it has, in the end helped me to overcome a lot of things including myself for the most part and realize what is most important in this life and I have really been able to refocus and reprioritize my life in a way that has worked out or at least is starting to work out a whole lot better for my family and myself. I feel like I am the luckiest man alive because I am married to the most patient woman in the world I think. I know that my wife loves me and that she is in this all the way, not that i didn't know that before, but i really know that for assurity now. I only hope that when I get home that I will be able to show her the love that she deserves and that she needs to know that I love her and that I too am in this all the way right beside her because I really and truly am in this right next to her. I love you Tracy Lorene and that will never change. I miss you so much and cant wait to talk to you and to tell you that face to face. Oh how glorious that day will be here in about 40 days, YES, i am excited. well that is all for now so I will talk to you all later and Tracy I Love You Forever and Eternity.

well all, I tried to get on here to post some photos but it seems that i dont know what I am doing so I am going to have to once again trust in my beautiful wife to show me up again and tell me how to do it but that is ok I will learn some day, I hope so anyway. well it has been another day in the DEID or Al Udeid or desert or sandbox which ever you prefer so yeah it is coming to a close here in i do believe 43 days and counting so i am happy about that but it will be better when I am home with the family and friends and familiar home so yeah. Anyway I am just wanting to get on here and update everyone, I am doing ok and I am alive so that is good. Another day where I woke up on the brown side of the dirt, HAHA. so I am going to bed now and I will talk to you all later.

Well i have not been on here in a few days so i just wanted to get on here and update my status
:)~ i now have, do believe, that i have 45 days left until i can come home. Yeah Me. But the time here is going by at a decent rate and i hope that it continues to go faster and faster so that i can see my lovely wife and kiddies again soon. I love them so much and miss them more and more each day. But anyway, I finished the first book out of the TWILIGHT series and am hookef on it, i plan on going to get the second book tonight from the library here and start reading it, I borrowed the TWILIGHT movie from someone at work so i am probably going to watch it tonight after work and after i get done working out. So that brings me to something else, I have recommited myself to working out for the last six weeks that i am here so that i can reach my personal goal of getting down to 185 lbs, I went to the gym today and i have officially lost 21 lds since i have been here, i weighed 218 when I arrived in the desert and i am down to 197 Lbs so I am excited. So when i reach my goal weight, I am going to start to try to put on some more muscle since i really dont have anything else to do here in the desert besides Talk to my family and work and church and working out so yeah that is one of my goals to better myself while i am here to be better before i go home. But anyway that is what is going on with me so just updating like I said. well will be on here tomorrow to give you all another update so for now it is goodbye from TJ.

well today is perhaps my favorite day of the week and that day is Sunday!!! i love sunday. unfortunately i have to work tonight but that is ok i guess you cant win them all huh. oh well. i just wanted to get on here and pass a little note to Tracy and tell you that i love you and miss you and wish that i could be there with you but i will soon though so it will be ok. i went to church today and the sacrament talk was very good, it was on faith, hope, and love. it was very good. the sunday school lesson was on pride and that was even better, i learned a lot and i feel that i was able to get a lot out of church today. well i am going to bed for now so that i can get some rest before i have to work tonight. good night i love you Tracy.

well it is now 48 days and some change until i am able to join my lovely family again and to enjoy the many things that i once took for granted like being able to caome home every day and see the family that i have come to love with everything in me and to kiss my wife and pick up my kids as they run up to me as i walk through the door after a long day of work or even after i just go somewhere and come back. i love my family and i never want to be away from them again because it is not fun missing out on all the small things that i never thought that i would miss. it is amazing to me to be able to have the love that i have and the marriage that i have and be who we are together as a family, i really am feeling the blessings that my father in heaven has blessed me with and the small little acts that i never knew would mean so much to me, but they are everything to me. i love you tracy and i am counting the days when i can hold you in my arms, that is what will be the best day of my life when i can be rejoined with you and our children. i love you and miss you oh so much every day more and more the longer that i am gone. i hope that these 48 days and some change....haha..... go by fast and that i get to see your face and kiss your lips and finally after a long period away from you, place my hand on your cheek and tell you that everything is alright now, i am home. i cannot wait to see your face and hold you in my arms again. i love you. Ward Temple Trip!

So today we went to the St Louis temple as a ward activity, everyone went with their family and the missionaries talked to the kids about the importants of going to the temple! After we went to a park right next to it and had a BBQ. It was a little warm but still all in all it was a great day!!

You know sometimes I find myself just going through the motions of the day since TJ has left... I really don't think you can truly understand what it is like to be a military wife until you go through a deployment! Well I have to say it has been a real eye opener...me and TJ had learned so much about each other and about our relationship! I long for the closeness that you have when your husband gets home from work...or when you lay next to him at night! You learn to over look the silly things like not turning his sock right side out before throwing them in the laundry basket! :-D (yes it really did drive me nuts) But to try to make sure that we both know how much the other loves and misses each other...we try to write love letters (emails mostly) to each other often....something I hope we can continue to do when he gets home! Well let me just tell you TJ is such a better writer than me!! He truly is my best friend and am truly counting the days til we are back together! (51...just in case you where wondering...haha) But I am truly a lucky women!! Girls let me just remind you...it could be alot worst if he wasnt there driving you nuts!! Count your blessing!! But this is my latest note from TJ...

Ok so Lily is getting to that age where she like to dress up, you know change cloths 20 times a day, put on shoes, and even let you play with her hair...I know I know there was a while where I had to hold her down just to brushed it! :-)

So today we did not go to church, Peyton is sick (runny nose, crusty eye, fever, pulling at the ears) I am thinking ear infection, but since I am in Primary I didnt want to get other children sick. But....since we have not missed church in I can't tell you when, I really did not know what to do. So I decided we where going to have a lazy stay in our PJ day! :-)

So Lily wanting to play as she has started doing....so she first put on her shoes on the wrong feet! :-) (Look close at the picture)

Then she brought me the hair brush and let me fix her hair (we had to do the whole side pony tail...haha)

So then I ran to the bath room real quick and I came back and Lily had taken one of her markers (the pink one of course) and put lipstick on Peyton :-) Oh boy poor Peyton....the things to come for him!! HAHA

So today was the first day we have had in a long time where it did not rain, so when we woke up and before I could get breakfast fixed Lily was wanting to go outside! So need less to say we spent a lot of the day outside, and kids just wore them selves out!!

So since Peyton was first born we have always showed Lily how to tickle Peyton, it was something that she could do to make him laugh, and we just love his laugh it is just so hardy!! Well yesterday I was holding Lily and Peyton came up to her and tickled her feet it was the funniest thing ever!! He was like "tic tic tic" Completely out of the blue, it completely made my day! It is days like that, that truly make you love motherhood!! :-D

The Beach!!

Ok so while we where home last month I had to go to the beach...I mean my kids have really never been to the beach and here both their parents both grown up with in 5 miles of the beach!! :-) But the best part is....they hated it!! Not the water....but the sand!! :-D Lily spent most of the time on the beach towel and when I tried to get her off she would cry! But here are the pictures they tell the story better!!

So last Tuesday I got our lawn mower back out of the shop and decided to mow my jungle of a back yard, well I moved the kids toy after mowing every around it and mowed under it and found quit a little surprise!! (I wont lie I thought it was a nest of mice at first and had to go get a neighbor at first) They where 7 little baby bunnies!! :-D They where cute, I thought!! Well Saturday I went out to finish up my yard work and they where out of their hole hopping around and I got a few pictures! Well Sunday (mother's day) they left us :-( I went out side and most of them where gone, they others we had to have removed :-( But here are the cute pictures of our little bunnies!!

I know it has been a while but things have been crazy in the Shields' Family!! Well TJ deployed at the end of January!! He is in Qatar! He is doing alright! He misses us just as we miss him!! :-( But the kids are doing better! We are down in Mississippi for Lily's birthday right now. We are celerbrating her 2nd birthday on the 21st her Birthday is really on the 25th but that is ok! :-) She wont know any better!! haha but we are headed back up to IL next Thursday!! Well I know it has been a while and I have yet to even post pictures of Thanksgiving or Christmas on here I just feel like we have been in a world wind since getting back from our vacation home! Tj leaves for a 6 month deployment in like 17 days! It seems like time is just flying by but hopefully it will just fly right on by!! That is the 6 months he is gone! :-D But we are doing good other than being crazy! The kids are getting big...Peyton is now crawl/scooting every where...Lily is able to climb on anything! So they are both in to everything! :-D But that is what makes life fun!! :-) But just a little update!! Love yall

The Christmas Tree!!

So we got a Christmas tree!! They were giving the away on base so we got one for free!! But we had a great time decorating it! Lily was so excited!! But she got a little too excited about the gifts!! I think we ended up re wrapping on of my nieces, my moms and one of Peyton's!! :-) Oh well that is life! :-D But it should be fun to see her unwrap all of the gifts this year!!

So for a week now we have been planning on going to the temple today...well this afternoon! We had a baby sitter and all! Well my kids didn't want us to go I guess. They both woke up with a low grade fever! :-( If they only knew that mommy & Daddy really needed to get out together! We have never left Peyton with anyone...except for right after he was born due to me having to go to the hospital! But that is life I guess and when you are dealing with yucky weather!

Halloween Fun!!

Well we had two long days of Halloween fun!! Thursday Night we had our Ward Trunk or Treat! It turned out really good...this year they did a little carnival inside and then we went out side and trunk or treated!! Lily loved it! She started out carrying her pumpkin then she started dragging it...then I ended up caring her and the pumpkin! But she would not let it go!!

Then Friday morning we got up and went to play group...we had a Halloween party it was great! The kids made pumpkin lanterns and slime!! They also played in the play room at the Claus home!! We had spooky treats and just enjoyed our selves!

Then that night we had a couple of friends over and had a pot luck and then all went trick or treating!! It again was fun!! The kids where so tired by time the evening was over! Lily slept til 9am Saturday morning!! It was very nice I have to say!

But all in all it was a great Halloween couple of days! The kids were too cute and they truly enjoyed themselves!! and hey that is all it is about right!!

Sesame Street

So there are some really great things that we get to go too being in the AF!! This weekend Sesame Street put on a show at the Base Movie Theater!! They gave everyone a Elmo light. It was all free of charge and Lily just loved it & Peyton was pretty entertained!! Well Lily liked it until Elmo tried to come by her!! We sat 3 rows to the stage! It was wonderful!!

Getting ready for Halloween!!

So I know Halloween should not be my favorite Holiday...But it is! It is the start of fall and the leaves are all changing and my kids get to dress up and truly be kids. We get to go pick and carve Pumpkins, it is the first holiday of the season, there is not the hassle that comes with Thanksgiving and Christmas it is just a true kids Holiday and just the whole feel of the season I love!! So here is how we have started counting down the days to our Family's HALLOWEEN!!

Where has the time went, I feel like we blinked and you are growing up! Just a few days ago you where this little baby that did not even fit into preemie cloths and now you are walking, running, climbing, talking and being your little devilish self!

I wish I could freeze time and just know that you will be our little girl forever! I know that sooner than I even think you will be going into Young Women's, talking back, dating, graduating high school and much to your dads disbelief getting married. I just hope that you always remember how much we love you and how special you are too us. How much you have brighten our lives!! I hope you know how much your daddy and I prayed that you would come to us! You are and always will be our little girl! You add so much to our little family! You are such a big helper with Peyton, and boy does he love you! You are our little Lil!!

This Months Achievements

I hate car problems!!

Ok so I think you all know we bought a new car this past April...well A new used car! :-) But late last night TJ went to go to the shoppette to get me some liquid starch and well...the car started making a funny noise!! :-( So today we took it into the dealership and our wheel was about to fall off!! Like crazy!! But all of it but $100 is being covered under the warranty so we can't really complain!! :-) But we are car less for the weekend! Oh well it could be worse!! :-) The worst part of it was we where going to have a really cool play group and well since I had all of the stuff and couldn't really get there :-P I even made slime last night...that is why I needed liquid starch!! :-) But oh well life goes on! It could be worst!! :-) But that is my latest stress of the week!!

After going to a few of my friends houses on and off base that where painted...one day I got the wild hair up my butt...and said I want to paint!! TJ reluctantly said ok...haha...so after going to like 3 different stores that sold paint we decided on a topee color for the living room and the kitchen is a burnt orange!! I have to say that it feels a lot homer...we just pray now that we do not get orders to move anytime soon!! But we are very please with the end result!! So I am sure all of you who have children understand where I am coming from!! But you know when you first get married you have all the time in the world with each other. Every free moment is spent with each other. You do tons of romantic stuff for each other...and then you have children!! :-) Don't get me wrong having kids has been by far the most wonderful thing it our lives ...but I do sometimes miss the alone time! So last Saturday my husband totally wined and dined me!! First he brought me to the mail and I had my hair cut and high lighted!!

Then we came home put the kids to bed for the night and got all dressed up to come down stair to a candle light dinner...he had romantic music...my favorite food (Olive Garden) It was perfect! I will still close to my children (for all of you who don't know I have a problem leaving my kids with anyone!!) and yet we had time to our selves! We ate we danced in the living room it was wonderful!! It was the perfect day!!

So we went to the Air Show...this was our first one as a Family. TJ had to drive a bus for it!! (Yes my hubby can drive a bus...I joke with him if the AF doesn't work out there is always a school bus driver!!) :-) But he was able to go with us for a little while!! But it was fun...Lily liked it!! Peyton not so much, it was to loud for him and we had a hard time keeping the ear plug in his lil ears!! But now every time Lily sees an air plane she is like "plane mom plane" :-) It is kind of cute!! :-) But then again I guess I think everything they do is cute!!

So my daughter loves gluing, coloring...anything crafty...and for all of you who know me...know that I am not a crafty person...so it has been fun playing craft time with her!! Here is our latest project!! :-)

Ok so it has been so nice out side we have been playing outside and working in the yard a lot!! The kids have totally enjoyed it! :-)

So last weekend we where out in the front yard putting up Halloween Decoration and weeding the flower beds. (Just getting ready for the fall) Well we had the water hose on, well we looked over at Lily...well we will let the pictures tell the rest!! :-)

Peyton is 5 Months Old!!

Where has the time went...Yes you really are 5 months old already!! Crazy I know...

it feels like we just had you!!

Well you are now sleeping through the night for the most part.
You are rolling over and scooting all over the place.
You love getting in the bath tub, but you hate getting out!! :-)

You are a very good eater and you let us know when you are hungry for sure!!

You are now teething...and we are expecting your front teeth to come through any day now!!

You have become quit the talker!! You make all kinds of cute baby sounds (it makes mommy & daddy Smile)

Everyone thinks you are too cute and think you make the most serious faces!!! But your parents just think that you are the best little boy that we could have ever had!! We are so glad that Heavenly Father has blessed us with you in our life's!! You make our home a happier place!! We just wish that you would slow down on the growing!! :-) We like having you as our LITTLE baby!! :-D

Lily is 19 Months!!

Where has the time went...It seems like just yesterday we where holding this little 4lbs baby in our arms...and now you are 19 months old...

getting closer and closer to that 2 year mark!!

You are now Weighing in at 20 lbs 6 ozs

(Yes you are finally 20 lbs!!)

Well you are now in Nursery and totally enjoying it!! You are my little people person!!
You have started sleeping in a big girl bed!! (and have been very good at staying in it!)
You are able to climb up and down the stairs all by your self!

You are getting better at drinking from a cup by your self!
Your favorite food is still french fries.
You love to drink Mommy's Coke (such a bad mommy)
You love to stand in the chair and help Mommy cook!
You are still your very independent self!! (You want to do everything on your own)

You like calling Mimi, Grandma & Grandpa...or any of your aunts & uncles!!
Your best friend is still Regan!!
Talking - you have become quit a little gibber gabber!! You can say anything that we tell you too! It is amazing how quick you have learned to talk!
You love playing outside with Daddy

You are not scared of anything or anyone!
You love playing with your little brother Peyton! You call him bu bu!

Everyone thinks you are so small and so cute!! Your parents totally agree!! We know that we are so blessed to have your sweet spirit in our home, you teach us something new everyday and you make us all smile. We want you to stay our baby girl forever! But you will just keep getting bigger and teaching us new things!! We just hope that you always remember that we love you and so glad that you picked us!!

Trying Something New!!

Hey All!!

Well I had talked to Stephy about starting a blog, that is what a lot of my friends up here do to keep up with there families!! So here we are...blogging!!

Well the Shields Family is trucking along...things are going great. Lily & Peyton are getting so big way to quick!! I think every day wow before I know it they will be going on missions and getting married!! I sometimes wish they would stay my babies forever...and then I have to change another poopy diaper and thing hmmm...maybe not!! :-D
But as I am sure you all know the excitement in our family right now is trying to get ready for TJ deploying in January. We are just trying to make sure mentally & spiritually we are ready. But as far as day to day life TJ is in school and enjoying it. He also just got a new church calling as the 2nd counselor in YM...and yes I am jealous!! :-D But happy for him! So as of now he is a counselor in YM, a Elders Corm Teacher, a Youth Sunday School Teacher & He does a prospective elders class on Tuesday nights!! I am thinking that the Lord does not ever want me to see my Hubby!! :-) But go and do as the Lord Commands! :-)

As for me I am still doing the cake decorating classes and I have also joined a squadron spouse club!! :-) I am still serving in Primary as the secertary & the fill in Music Corester. I am also starting be over the play group for our ward, they are more for me to get out than they are for Lily & Peyton...haha...sad I know.

But I will try to keep up on here with you all so check it weekly or so!! haha Who know how often I will Blog!! :-D

Oh yeah here is a picture of Lily Apple picking!! We had a blast....The weather was cool and the apples where wonderful!! The only problem we had was ones Lily started picking she didn't want to stop!! :-)

But I guess we will talk to you all soon!!
